having launched the n16 loving newington label with a split release from a range of bubbling uk house talents, waze & odyssey turn to a more familiar name for the second release with the cross flatts ep from pbr streetgang. formed of the wonderfully named bonar bradberry and tom thorpe, pbr streetgang have been quietly accruing a respectable discography since the project was founded oop north roughly five years back. elevated into wider consciousness last year thanks to some stellar 12 inches across hot creations, 20:20 vision and futureboogie, it makes perfect sense for bradberry and thorpe to add the similarly minded newington label to their cv with both cuts on this 12″,,, fitting snugly into the current lexicon of vocally driven deep house.

cardiff massive giovanni branciamore and bradley albertides heard nicoles amazing sultry folky tones on the flowers of flesh & blood album and just had to work up some nip and bop to sit with her voice. nicole loved it and this is it! we are not too sure what to label this music under but tags of future nip hop ambient folk bop seem to be close. sarah burgess is a secret forest folky vocalist from york with a super soft ambient tone to her voice which was crying out for a touch of flyypost nip. luv*jams ambient alter ego flyypost slides out some wobbled out bass lines, floaty synths and a 68bpm raw kick drum all gliding on a bed of waves with sarahs stunning memories vocal. what style of music do we label this as? neo italo nip folk acid whop?

nice price deal !!! finest minimalistic groove & kick monsters! only for djs. the colombian duo jose m. & tacoman have recorded on top labels like material, area remote and sphera records and have written three tracks for trapez ltd now. >what are you watching< is a tricky traxter with a cool swing programming to keep you happy on your feet and moving. this is very much a beat track but has an outstanding groove that makes it so special. raw and streetwise it makes sure things are always going fine. one of these tracks that are loose and tight at the same time. a perfect alliance.>warehouse< seems at first less funky but convinces with an hypnotic aspect and a congenial feeling to it. >kick this< is similar to >what are you watching< a strong groover with sounds in the background and a catchy vocal line. all three tracks are cool and perfect for groove addicts.

i-robots is an alias of opilec music boss gianluca pandullo, a long time dj and producer with a penchant for classic techno and electro cosmic disco. for his next project in the esteemed i-robots reconstructions concept series the italian re-edits some classic material, all with the permission of the original artists. the tracks in question are derrick mays hugely influential *emanon* cut, recorded under his rhythim is rhythim alias and originally released in the 1990s on his own seminal transmat records label – one of the most important imprints in the early days of techno alongside kms and metroplex. the second track – which was first released on metroplex, the label juan atkins founded in 1985 and then re-released and reworked on sound vision - is *game one* produced by the legendary juan atkins and orlando voorn as infiniti. the latter of these pair has already released a number of times on the opilec music label.
